Futures 9 introduces young golfers to competitive excitement playing a variety of individual formats based on handicap. Even if you regularly play 18 holes, this event will provide a competitive challenge over 9 holes. Entry is $10 ($5 for Futures Canterbury Hub members).

About The Event
Young people engage in sport for many different reasons, but the lead motivator for young kiwi kids is to have fun! Futures 9 encourages young golfers to adopt the basic rules of golf while providing a fun opportunity with friends on course developing competitive excitement.
Selwyn Hub Champs
- Two 9-hole qualifying rounds - players can play one round or both with the best net score to count for qualifying.
- Two grades - Crushers (Purple tees for boys and girls) and Young Masters (Yellow tees for girls / White tees for boys).
- Top 8 to qualify in each grade - 3 rounds of 9-hole matchplay.
- An adjustment for the difference in Course Ratings may be applied for players competing at the two different courses and for boys and girls competing from different tees.
Entry: $10 ($5 for Futures Canterbury Hub members / $5 for additional siblings). Pay at event.
